World Wrestling Entertainment conducted an ECW Wrestling edition on September 30, 2008 for WWE Wrestling fans. Tood Grisham and Matt Striker were official commentators for this event. ECW General Manager Theodore Long and his assistant Tiffany appeared in ECW ring. Tiffany introduced ECW Champion Matt Hardy. Similarly, Tiffany introduced Matt Hardy’s opponent Mark Henry and his manager Tony Atlas. Mark Henry gave shake hand to Theodore Long and did not give shake hand to Tiffany. Theodore Long decided to arrange a match between these two superstars before No Mercy. Mark Henry talked about Threat threat Champions match at WWE Smackdown on October 3, 2008. Mark Henry decided to exclude Matt Hart from that match by seriously injuring in this night. Matt Hardy impressed ECW and ECW Wrestling fans by praising ECW.
However, Mark Henry and Matt Hardy decided to face in this ECW edition. Theodore Long tried to convince them. In few moments, John Morrison and The Miz attended this wrestling event. John Morrison and The Miz want to give a match for this year to Theodore Long. As per The Miz and John Morrison interest, Theodore Long granted a six man tag team match for wrestling fans.
