Eric Bischoff awards World’s Title to Triple H at WWE Raw 9/2/2002
Brock Lesnar went to WWE Smackdown as WWE Champion. WWE Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff could not manage WWE Raw brand without WWE Championship but Brock Lesnar did not show interest to participate in WWE Raw as per WWE Smackdown General Manager Stephanie McMahon’s encouragement. Eric Bischoff decided to highlight WWE Raw by introducing WWE World Heavyweight Championship title in WWE Raw edition on September 2, 2002. Finally, Eric Bischoff brought WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a briefcase to give little surprise to wrestling fans. Eric Bischoff explained his problems to Wrestling fans. Eric Bischoff did not wish to talk about WWE Championship. However, Eric Bischoff interested to talk about New WWE World Heavyweight Champion for WWE World’s Championship. Eric Bischoff considered Triple H as #1 Contender of WWE World’s Title and invited Triple H to this very special show.
Eric Bischoff announced Triple H as #1 Contender and showed WWE World Heavyweight Title to World. Due to lack of competition, WWE Raw General manager Eric Bischoff announced Triple H as New WWE World Heavyweight Champion. In few moments, 16 time World’s Champion Ric Flair attended this event and explained greatness of World Title. Eric Bischoff agreed with Ric Flair’s words and announced WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Ric Flair and Triple H in this special event. In few moments, Triple H seriously injured Ric Flair without respect. WWE Raw brand wrestlers appreciated Triple H except Bubba Ray Dudley. Bubba Ray Dudley explained his problem with Triple H. Due to lack of enough time, Bubba Ray Dudley went for his match by giving a warning to WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H.
